Krastus: Death gives and death takes away

Humans and their funny morals - they are quite amusing creatures, though I admit I grow fond of those on the crew. Those who survive anyway.

We finally managed to escape from Brigandy Bay - visiting there went about as well as Krastus thought it would. But do people listen to Krastus? No. They do not. And so the world turns and events repeat themselves with only slight changes.

But of course, how did we escape? Naturally it was because the fine ship's carpenter - who works without even a 'Thank you Master Krastus' - kept the ship afloat and was able to restore much of our speed and hull superstructure in the middle of a battle to ensure we could put distance on the enemy ships. It took days to lose them, again with the help of my magical powers, but we did lose them. And on to the Teeth - home to the archmage. Home to secrets. Knowledge.

Until we realised we didn't have enough food. Even with our depleted crew.

And so we doubled back to Azy Kay - where we knew the people were friendly and the rations plentiful. We took on people and supplies and plotted our next course.

So, we set sail again for The Teeth - now with food to fill our bellies. But as luck would have it we saw black sails. It was the blasted frenchman - as fortune would have it in dodging him we found the Dawn Raider. The captain wanted his sword, though - and so we engaged. It was a huge battle as they quickly sought to board us - many fell. Many at my hands or after my magic. Amusing, yes? They took the sword because I killed 3 of them in self defense. Now they would lose the same sword because I killed a dozen or so.

Oh well, maybe the captain will stop bemoaning his lost sword - which everyone seems to forget it was my magic that helped us find it. And perhaps we can stab his molestation shadow to death. It will save me a great deal of time poking the shadow, to be sure.
