After we
looted everything we could from the dragon's den we went on towards the Teeth
islands, where the archmage lives. Her house was on top of a giant reverse
waterfall thing, and to get there we had to go through this rock tunnel, with
rushing water. It was fast, dangerous, but quite fun. I wonder if the wizard
did this for her own amusement.
We also found a sort of dolphin statue thing, on one of the shipwrecks here, which is supposed to be magical. I don’t know about that, but I bet it will look really swell if we put it in the mouth of the dragons head.
Anyway we reached the lake, from which the great water column rose with the tower on top, and decided that we would swim up, apart from Héléne, and Sira who did not want to get wet or something. The column was high, and I could not grab on to the rocks so I fell down. That was also really fun. The wizard must play here a lot, especially since she lives here alone. It must be quite inconvenient if she forgets to buy bread or something.
In the end it was Cortes who climbed up to the tower, and then he threw down a rope. We could all get up there afterwards, and could explore the tower. After we entered, we also met a talking parrot, who was quite rude, but still kind of funny.
Inside the tower there were all these trials which were supposed to be tied to the four elements. They were sot of lame. I mean there was something about a key on a map, and then stepping on some tiles and after that we had to swim. I expected something way more interesting. I bet the dragon would have come up with more exciting trials.
Anyway the last trial was pretty hard, so me and Sira could not make it, and the others had to talk to the archmage. I was really disappointed at first, but in the end it turned out, that they just had some chat with her about water. Also she gave some of them books. She must be the worst archmage ever. I hope Krastus won’t end up like her now, that he Is also one. She didn’t even conjure up bunnies or saw someone in half.
If it wasn’t for her fantastic water-tower this visit would have been completely boring.
